My Blue Paintings have been ongoing series since 1999, and still provide me the opportunity to explore the most intimate experiences of conceptualizing and feeling the human body form. Unlike mechanically reproduced images, painting still retains an introspective being that Walter Benjamin observed as the “aura of human creation”. My Blue Paintings are the metaphor of my desires to produce a subject that provides a better reality that is always moving in flux.
